It took me a while to find this place but I was looking for authentic Chinese food in San Jose , and I found a gem ! The menu is on the QR code at the table , and then you order from your phone , which was pretty cool .Hot tea is served complimentary and they also have a good selection of lunch specials to choose from. The lunch specials are from 11am -2pm .I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and it came with a sweet and sour soup and white rice ,it was delicious !!

Good Chinese food. I usually get their xlb, walnut prawns, and fried rice. Very tasty flavor and would definitely recommend all to try. They have plenty of good dishes and their menu offers a good amount of variety and veggie options.

Dined here for a 100 day celebration. Food was great and service was quick and efficient. Both seafood and beef dishes were delicious.

Great Chinese restaurant and kind of a hidden gem here in the South Bay. The menu is really comprehensive and covers a wide range of varieties, and if you're familiar with a more authentic Chinese menu, this one will probably have a few of your favorites. The interior has been recently remodeled and the dining area is cozy. The staff has superb customer service, and they're really nice and enthusiastic, which makes the experience, whether dine in or pickup, a good one. Definitely recommend checking it out for great Chinese food to see for yourself.

Delicious , nice service and clean restaurant. Seasoning is a bit too salty for my personal preference.

We came here for Lunar New Year and found the small restaurant full of people celebrating. We were able to snag a table and we're given a free pot of hot tea. Ordering is done by QR code system and our dishes arrived quickly. We ordered: Vegetable egg roll 3.5/5 (filling had good flavor but was mushy inside indicating likely being frozen) Shredded bean curd 4.5/5 Vegetable chow fun 3/5 (bland) String beans with mushroom 5/5 (best string beans I've ever had, forgot to take a pic it was so good) Salt and pepper tofu 3.5/5 (excellent tofu, lacked seasoning) This is a true hidden gem with authentic dishes and good vegetarian options. Can't wait to be back!

My family and I moved out of state. And when ever we go back to the bay we try and hit up our favorite spots. We did that yesterday. We came here specifically for their xlb and ordered chili oil wontons as well. It was such a great lunch and we were able to take left overs home. I just had their chili oil wontons and they taste even better and spicier than I remember. Thank you to this little gem for a wonderful meal, even a few states away!

Wow this restaurant is one of my new favorites in the Bay Area. I didn't want rate this place 5 stars to move it further away from 3.5 stars but everything about this restaurant is excellent. The service is super friendly and quick and the food is top tier. The honey walnut shrimp is one of the best I have ever had and their mushroom and green beans were also very delicious. Highly recommend coming here!

Mayflower is far and away the best Chinese food I've had in San Jose and it isn't particularly close. I've loved this place since I first came around five years ago, and after countless meals here my appreciation has only deepened. Many restaurants have one or two dishes that are really good, but from top to bottom the menu at Mayflower is great. Every time we try a new dish I half-expect it to finally be the time we get something mediocre and yet it still hasn't happened. I could never come here without getting an order of the Salt & Pepper Fish Fillets. I'm not even a big fish person, but this delicious is absolutely incredible and if you take only one recommendation from me, let it be that. The Wok-Fried String Beans, Wontons with Hot Sauce, and Ma Po Tofu are also staples that my wife and I order basically every time we come but the deliciousness certainly doesn't stop there. Beef Chow Fun, Mongolian Beef, Garlic Pork Spareribs, it's all great. Mayflower is a top five restaurant from me in the whole South Bay, and I would recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone looking for amazing Chinese food. I wish there was some honor above five stars that I could bestow upon them, but alas, this is all I can do for this exemplary establishment.
